Redwood City’s Ready, Set, Run program is a character-building running program that trains children ages 8-13 to participate in the Redwood City 4th of July 5K FUN RUN!
Participants will receive 12 weeks of running instruction, a training manual, t-shirt, and enrollment into the Redwood City 4th of July Fun Run. This fitness program is designed by the National Alliance for Youth Sports and sponsored by the Sequoia Health Care District, and supported by the Redwood City Police Activities League.
Topics Covered: Proper physical training and nutrition, goal-setting, confidence, peer pressure, self-esteem, respecting authority, etc.
MANDATORY PARENT ORIENTATION: MARCH 24TH @ 6PM RED MORTON CENTER.
PLEASE NOTE: Registration Deadline is March 16th, 2011.
Program Days/Dates: April 4th – July 4th, Mondays and Wednesdays
Times: 4 – 5:30 (No class 4/18 – 4/22)
Location: Kennedy Middle School (Stulsaft/Sequoia HS)
