Redwood City Education Foundation seeks nominees for Inspiration Award – honors exemplary volunteerism in schools

The Redwood City Education Foundation (RCEF) is a wonderful non-profit which does fundraising in support of music instruction for students in grades 2 through 8, Outdoor Education for 5th graders, SMART teaching innovation grants, the middle school Summer Math Institute, and Wellness programs for all students.

The RCEF is seeking nominations for their Inspiration Award, given out each year in honor of Pat Crawford. Award recipients have an outstanding record of volunteer service in the Redwood City School District that exemplifies Pat’s lifelong commitment to education and her unique ability to foster and inspire volunteering in those around her. 

To nominate your candidate, send an email to info@rcef.org with this information:

1. What type(s) of volunteer work has this nominee been involved with in the Redwood City School District and for what time period(s)?

2. What difference has this nominee’s volunteer efforts made for the Redwood City School District students, families, or staff?

3. How has this person increased volunteer participation in a particular activity or inspired volunteerism in others?

4. Contact information for yourself and your candidate.

Nominations are due March 30, 2011. The award will be presented at Benefit for a Brighter Future 2011 on May 6, 2011.
