You can keep Redwood City clean, attractive, and inviting – be a Community Preservation Volunteer!

As a Community Preservation Volunteer, you’ll assist Redwood City Code Enforcement staff in working to beautify and improve our community. You’ll be part of an innovative volunteer program that has become a model for the California Code Enforcement Association and other city and county code enforcement offices.

After training, you’ll be assisting with:

  • Reports of abandoned cars, rubbish/dumping, graffiti, and abandoned shopping carts
  • Sign ordinance enforcement
  • Important clerical and office duties
  • Follow-up on code enforcement cases and complaints
  • Special community preservation projects

This is a great way for you to get involved with your community, and help keep Redwood City clean, attractive, and inviting.

To learn more and apply to become a Community Preservation Volunteer, please contact Steven Solorio at (650) 780-7351 or ssolorio@redwoodcity.org. You can also learn more in the news release located at www.redwoodcity.org/manager/news/2011/pr_bit_ce_volunteers.html
