Friends of the Redwood City Library Bookstore Helps Fund Library Programs – Wide Selection, Low Prices, Great Gifts

There is lots of great stuff featured at the Friends’ Bookstore this week, located at the Downtown Library.

First, the annual Father’s Day display features great books for all the dads in your life. Lots of great books that will make the perfect gift. Shop early as these featured books go fast!

The Sales Carts feature:
Sale Cart #1:  Hard Back Fiction, 50 cents each or 5 for $1.
Sale Cart #2: The Eclectic Cart Sale featuring a fun mix of science, business, how-to, health, poetry, short stories books. There really is something for everyone. Priced as marked.

And a reminder about the library’s Summer Reading Program for kids from infancy through high school. Registration started on June 9th. The program encourages 600 minutes of reading over the summer to win an array of prizes and a ticket for the Big Raffle. Plus, there are special summer programs in the main library and each branch throughout the summer. Go to for all the details

The Friends fund the Summer Reading Program, investing over $13,000 this year to make it great for the community!

The Friends is a wonderful non-profit, volunteer organization committed to furthering the excellence of the Redwood City Public Library.
