Here’s a quick note to let you know about a free screening of a really remarkable, Oscar-nominated documentary, Winged Migration, at the Redwood Shores Branch Library TOMORROW – sponsored by the Sierra Club Loma Prieta Chapter.

Also: Sign-ups at the event for Canoe Adventure in Baylands on August 13th, 9am-2pm. This is a unique opportunity to paddle through the amazing sloughs (wetlands), visit Bair Island, get up close with local birds, marine animals, bay water and bay mud and see this unique eco-system up-close. Bring a pack lunch. $20 public or $10 for MSI members. Space is limited.
