2 Sunday Events: Gallery Annex-Artists of Sequoia High / Interfaith Songfest

Good morning – here are two fun activities taking place this Sunday. One is great for art lovers, or really for anyone who supports our local high school art. The other is an Interfaith Songfest that should be very entertaining. Please read below – these are great opportunities to enjoy some wonderful art, and music!

Gallery Annex of Redwood City presents
The Talented Artists of

SEQUOIA HIGH SCHOOL

THIS SUNDAY, April 15, 2012
1 – 3 PM
2115 Broadway, Redwood City
(Next door to the Old Spaghetti Factory)

We welcome all members of the community to this exciting event featuring innovative and exciting ART!! You’ll enjoy fantastic Paintings, Drawings, Ceramics, Photography, 3-D Art, and more.

Plus, hear these great speakers:

  • Kory Heinzen – Art Director of DreamWorks Animation, Visual Development Artist at PDI/Dreamworks
  • Paul Turner – Operations Manager – ITunes Content, Apple

Interfaith Songfest

There’s nothing like music and song to bring together folks of different faiths and all walks of life. Choirs and musical groups from seven local places of worship will perform at this Interfaith Songfest!

THIS SUNDAY evening, April 15, 2012
7 to 9 pm
St. Peter’s Episcopal Church
178 Clinton Street, corner of Brewster, Redwood City

Participants:

  • Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Redwood City (sponsor)
  • Second Baptist Church
  • El Buen Pastor Iglesia (Episcopal)
  • El Reino de Dios (Foursquare)
  • Insight Meditation Center (Buddhist)
  • Congregation Beth Am (Jewish)
  • St. Charles Catholic Church
