2 Gardening Events…

Good afternoon, and happy Friday!

Here’s one more reminder about this FREE Water-Efficient Landscaping Class TOMORROW, focusing on “Water Efficient Drip Irrigation” – Saturday, April 14, from 9 am – noon. Redwood City Public Works Services, 1400 Broadway. You’ll learn about basic drip irrigation design and installation, components, techniques, and maintenance. Registration is required – go to www.bawsca.org/classes or call (650) 349-3000.

And, here’s something different – your family will enjoy this Bay Area Garden‐Friendly Parking Lot Event (this is one of several in the Bay Area, and it’s actually in San Carlos, but our Water folks are participating). It’s in the parking lot at Home Depot, 1125 Old County Road, from 9 am to 2 pm.

  • Learn about gardening with California Natives and drought‐tolerant plants
  • Find out what water conservation rebates you are eligible for
  • Get great deals on water‐efficient plants, mulches and irrigation systems
  • Attend Mini‐Clinics to learn hands‐on from the experts
  • Fun raffles and kid’s activities

You can see the flyer at www.redwoodcity.org/conservation.

Thanks, and have a great weekend,
