Meet at 1400 Broadway
Help clean up Redwood Creek, historic Union Cemetery, Hoover School, Woodside Road, and more, plus some cleanup and restoration at Stulsaft Park. Sponsored by Redwood City and its Pride and Beautification Committee. Free continental breakfast, and free BBQ lunch. And, Recology San Mateo County sponsors the Great Compost Giveaway on the same day from 9 am to 3 pm – Redwood City residents can come to the Public Works Services parking lot and get up to a cubic yard of free compost (equivalent to about three full garbage cans). Neighborhood community clean-up event, sponsored by RecycleWorks, a program of San Mateo County, especially for the North Fair Oaks area. Breakfast treats provided by San Mateo Credit Union, lunch provided by El Grullense. Please register in advance at www.RecycleWorks.org or by calling 888-442-2666. Forms will be available for students who need to complete community service hours.

This unique puzzle art being auctioned during the event was created by youth with Autism in 30 minute individualized sessions with Nicole Keating, and artist and certified Mneme Therapist.
SEPTAR brings families, educators, and community members together to support the special education needs of children in Redwood City. We host workshops and conferences, provide facilitated support groups, offer teacher microgrants, and hold social events.
