Disabilities Awareness Fair

Disabilities Awareness Fair
Try a Wheelchair Obstacle Course, Discover Resources at July 10 Disabilities Awareness Fair

The San Mateo County Commission on Disabilities invites you to a free and fun Disabilities Awareness Fair on Tuesday, July 10, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the County Center Courtyard in Redwood City.

Come see wheelchair basketball players, hand cyclers and service dogs in action. If you are up for the challenge, you can try to navigate a wheelchair obstacle course or participate in other activities.

More than 30 agencies that serve people with disabilities will provide information and resources.   The fair will be held in the courtyard in front of the San Mateo County Hall of Justice, 400 County Center, Redwood City. Metered parking is available on the first floor of the parking garage located on Middlefield Road near Veterans Boulevard and on nearby streets. You can find directions on this Google map link.

The Redwood City Caltrain station is co-located with a SamTrans hub three short blocks from County Center.
