Events, and Construction Reminder

Good afternoon, and happy Friday!

Here’s a brief recap of what’s going on this weekend, and another reminder about  Downtown construction on Middlefield near Theatre Way.

First, see www.redwoodcity.org/RedwoodTower for information about the culvert relocation project now underway on Middlefield near Theatre Way. And please be sure to visit and support these businesses near that location (these and all businesses Downtown are OPEN during construction!):

Arya Global Cuisine
Cafe La Tartine
Century Theatre
Chipotle Mexican Grill
The Corner Cafe
Five Guys Burgers & Fries
Pizza My Heart
Pizza & Pipe
Portobello Grill
Quinto Sol (coming soon)
Saba Cafe
The Melt (coming soon
Yoppi Frozen Yogurt
LL Brown Jewelers

Here are a few quick points to remember:

Detour: While the culvert relocation is going on, there is no through-traffic for vehicles on Middlefield/Winslow near Theatre Way (pedestrians have full access). Theatre Way will be pedestrian only, Monday-Friday.

Parking: Although some parking spaces in the Middlefield lot are lost due to construction, there are still about 200 available there; enter the Middlefield lot ONLY from the southern entrance, near Jefferson. Plenty of other parking options (see map): the Jefferson Avenue underground garage, the Marshall Street garage, and the Sequoia Station underground garage.

Shuttle: The Climate Best Express offers on-demand service within a certain service area boundary (see map), including Downtown, Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm (24 hour advance reservation required – call 650-248-9643).

And finally, some activities to remind you about:

Tomorrow, Saturday, October 20, 10 am – 1 pm, 6 Old Stage Coach Road, Redwood City (just off Edgewood Road, 1 mile east of 280).
