The Sierra Club invites you to a special event – “Over Troubled Waters” – Movie, Discussion & Social

  • Monday, January 14, 2013
  • 6:30 to 8:30 PM
  • Redwood City Library, 1044 Middlefield Road, Redwood City

Join us for a special showing of the impactful film “Over Troubled Waters” that describes one of the most important water resources in California.

The Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta is the largest estuary on the west coast of the Americas. It is a national treasure being squandered by greed.

This visually rich documentary film narrates the story of the battle being fought by the people of the Delta to protect the region they love and to encourage saner water policies for the Golden State and all the people of California.

Following the movie we’ll enjoy light refreshments and      discuss what we saw and what actions we can take to protect this resource.

The event is free and open to the public, but RSVP’s are requested to help us plan for seating –
