City’s Annual Report, Initiatives, and State of the City – Online!

Good afternoon –

There is so much exciting stuff going on in our community, and I think you’ll all be very interested to check out Redwood City’s Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2011/2012 – it’s absolutely filled with a lot of great info about the City’s accomplishments, innovations, performance indicators, “facts and figures,” and a  look at some of the significant challenges and initiatives that each department will be addressing during this fiscal year. A bunch of great photos are in there, too!

You’ll also want to see the Strategic Initiatives Update, which will bring you up to speed on the work that City staff is doing  in fulfilling the City Council’s Strategic Initiatives and Strategic  Goals.

And, staff made a Strategic Initiatives Update Presentation to the City Council at their February 11 meeting – you’ll hear from the City Manager and staff, as well as the City Council, with an overview  update of the City’s Strategic Initiatives, along with Power Point slides. Click on the link above for the video – the presentation starts at about the 13-minute mark.

Don’t forget, you can also see the State of the City address made by Mayor Alicia Aguirre and Vice Mayor Jeff Gee in January – more great information about what the City was able to accomplish in 2012, and what will be happening in 2013.

These documents (and video!) are a great way to see what’s going on in Redwood City, and what’s coming up. I encourage you to take a look, and be sure to share this email with others.

Thanks,

~ malcolm
