2 Items – Redwood City “Tree Walk” / Financial Workshop for Sml Businesses at Cañada College

Good morning – here are a couple of items of interest. One is a Redwood City Tree Walk on March 9 led by the great nonprofit group CityTrees, and the other is a workshop for small businesses/entrepreneurs at Cañada College called “Creating Financial Wisdom.” Please read below and get these on your calendar!

Tree Walk in Redwood City

with CityTrees!

CityTrees has teamed up with The Davey Tree Expert Company and Encore Performance Catering to offer an arborist-led tree walk in Redwood City.

  • Saturday March 9th 

    8:30-9 am Check in and complementary refreshments
    9 -10:30 am Tree Walk

In this fun and educational experience the group will be led on a walk that starts and ends at Wellesley Crescent Park. The one-and-a-half mile walk will highlight some of the area’s interesting and important tree specimens. One of Davey’s certified arborists will be on hand to answer any questions ranging from identification and historical context to tree selection and care.  Wellesley Crescent Park is located near the intersection of El Camino Real and Edgewood Road (near the Stack’s restaurant).  Suggested donation: $10.00 per person.
