1044 Middlefield Road

The nationally touring, award winning acoustic duo Bettman & Halpin will be appearing in concert at Redwood City Public Library!
Stephanie Bettman is accomplished songwriter, with a gift for unforgettably moving lyrics. As a vocalist, she has drawn comparisons to such legendary singers as Emmylou Harris and Joan Baez. Meanwhile, her award winning fiddling, combines elements of bluegrass and jazz, with influences from such masters as Stephan Grappelli, Byron Berline and Johnny Gimble.
Luke Halpin is a renowned multi-instrumentalist (drawing inspiration from the likes of Sam Bush, Mark O’Connor and Tony Rice).  He is equally adept on Mandolin, Fiddle, and Guitar, as well as being dynamic vocalist and harmony singer.  Halpin has opened for Merle Haggard, Lone Star and The Steve Miller Band among others.
As a duo, Bettman & Halpin are fast earning a reputation in folk and bluegrass circles for hypnotizing performances filled with irresistible lyrics, transcendent harmonies and roof-raising instrumentals.
