Student Art Project Reception Tuesday; Blood Drive on Thursday – both at Redwood City’s Downtown Library

Art for Social Change


Please come to a reception in the Community Room of the Redwood City Downtown Library featuring an exhibition of Sequoia High School students’ linoleum prints.

Meet student artists and see the world through their point of view!

Tuesday, April 23, 2013
5 – 7 pm
Redwood City Library
1044 Middlefield Road

Artwork created under the guidance of Favianna Rodriguez, local artist and activist.

Exhibition made possible by Redwood City 2020/Immigrant Youth Action Team, with funding from the San Francisco Foundation’s Koshland Arts Mini-Grants Program.

Save Lives by Giving Blood!

Join the blood drive on Thursday, April 25, 2013, from 1 – 7 pm at the Downtown Redwood City Library Community Room located at 1044 Middlefield Road.

Just go to to make your appointment. Or, send an email to Deanna La Croix at ( or call her at 780-7308, to have your life saving appointment made for you. Walk-ins are also welcome!

In appreciation, all donors will receive a 10% off coupon and be entered into a drawing for a $500 spending spree, compliments of Sports Basement!

If you plan on donating, please do not forget to bring proper identification (i.e. driver’s license, CA identification card), and don’t forget to eat a healthy meal beforehand.
