YMCA Healthy Kids Day Event Saturday

The Sequoia YMCA is holding a great event this Saturday. It’s the Sequoia YMCA Healthy Kids Day, and it looks like a wonderful, healthy time for families!. Please read below for the details and get this on your weekend calendar.





The Y invites the entire community to participate in YMCA Healthy Kids  Day, the nation’s largest celebration of health for children and  families. Healthy Kids Day is THE day for kids to get a jump on a summer   full of activities- from sports to learning-that will keep them growing  and achieving. Join us and jumpstart a journey that lasts kids a day, a  summer and, we hope their entire future.
Saturday, April 27
10 am – 2 pm
Sequoia YMCA
1445 Hudson St., Redwood City
In partnership with the City of Redwood City Parks and Recreation Department, activities at Healthy Kids Day include a health and resource fair, family ZUMBA, bounce house, camp games, face painting, healthy snacks, obstacle course, summer camp registration. Bring your family to YMCA Healthy Kids Day on Saturday, April 27!
Each year Healthy Kids Day is celebrated across the country at more than 1,700 YMCAs, with more than 800,000 attendees. These events are free, open to everyone, and include fun, engaging and creative activities to get kids active from head to toe and promote year-long wellness and healthy living for children and families.
While you’re celebrating Healthy Kids Day, register your child for a YMCA summer camp by Monday, April 29, and enter to win an Apple iPad mini. One entry per family. Winners to be announced May 13.
